I mentioned the porcelain tiles to him and he hit the roof 🙂 Ihad to laugh. He wants to go to B+Q and buy their cheapest tiles and adhesives cos apparently it will do the same job and if they fall off they fall off!

Ah the joys of family..... He probably wants it doin for free as well

So i went to have a look at the said toilet last night.

Turns out the bare brick walls are actually painted to quite a shiny finish. does this affect what adhesive i can use?

Also there are bricks jutting in and out all over the place. Is the best thing to do re plaster or board up?

Any help would be appreciated please guys

just overboard with backer boards...use drylining adhesive as this sticks to anything....if he doesnt want to tank then so be it..lol lol..
