Hi

I'm about to tile a bathroom floor (onto water-resistant chipbard), I have flexible adhesive, flexible grout. There is some movement, but not loads. Will a waterproof membrane help with the movement?

Think I need to use a spell checker

Also, to get a waterproof seal under the bath, should I tile or use something else?

Now I'm trying to get my number of posts up so I can post a reply

Re: Tiling on floating floow

Chipboard is not a suitable surface to tile onto. You say you have "movement", in which case you will need to either lift the boards and place noggins down to add strength and then lay WBP of at least 18mm thickness or altrnatively overboard with 18mm ply, sealing the back side and edges first before tiling.

Ditto for me, sorry mate:thumbsup:
