Has any tilers out there tiled onto SEMPATAP before?I've never tiled onto SEMPATAP before.Any advice please.

I had to look this one up. New for me. Can't really advise you.

One thing I did notice on this website; Mould Growth Consultants - SEMPATAP THERMAL ; is the before thermal and after thermal shots look modified as even the trees in the garden are better insulated once the stuff has been added to the house.

I'd be sceptical of the stuff from a thermal point of view.

I'd agree, welll spoted Dave, in fact it looks no different to the neighbours house in both shots😳

You mean Dan. lol 🙂

I've emailed them with my findings too so I'll see if they reply or change the shots.

Very dodgy lol Very very dodgy.

DECORATIVE FINISH
EMULSION - Apply 2 coats of BIOCHECK Matt or Silk Emulsion by brush or roller at a coverage of approximately 12 square metres per litre per coat. The first coat may be diluted with 10% clean water. It is recommended that Silk is used in kitchens and bathrooms.
WALLPAPER FINISH - SEMPATAP THERMAL is suitable for all types of wall covering.
TILED AREAS - SEMPATAP THERMAL is suitable for tiling to sinks and baths.

I'd ring them and see what research they have done and see if they can back it up, it might just work but who knows?

Am I reading that right? It's suitable for tiling sinks and baths. No mention of walls and floors?

Just read up on that.. and it says it can be tiled....but what weight it will accept needs to checked on wi th them direct..

SEMPATAP THERMAL is quick and easy to put up with hardly any mess and can be decorated with virtually any finish - emulsion, wallpaper - it can even be tiled.
