Hello Scott. You better get in contact with PCI in Spain.
1. The adhesive PCI Nanolight is certified by German Lloyd register Luxembourg as allowed tile adhesive for deck construction on ships. Adhesives allowed for constructions on ships wear a "ship stearing wheel" on the bag.
2. 3-4 mm marble is definetly too thin/too weak as a.m. But, as you mentioned, a thicker marble has influence on the ship weight and therefore influence on the ship´s datas. It needs minimum the allowance of the ship´s owner for a change as he might have to change his ship insurance as the insurance would like to know if the risk has changed.
3. To cover the void ask PCI too for a solution.

As PCI belongs now to BASF, here is the contact in Spain:
BASF Construction Chemicals España, S.A.

Good luck from Germany, Martin
