Hi All,

I am trying to tile down the side of the bath. My plan is that the tiles will finish about 10cm beyond the edge of the bath and then go from ceiling to floor (as opposed to finishing at bath level).

I will have no problem sliding a tile down the side of the bath panel, but the complicated bit looks to be the edge of the bath itself. The bath is right up against the wall so I will need to effectively cut and wrap a tile around the edge of the bath. I am sure people on here have done this many times before so hoped you could give me some advice to make this job look good.

I cant work out what you want to do from your words? Do you just have a problem with cutting the tile that will be on the top of the bath and also cut so that it goes underneath?

If thats the case then draw a vertical line where the left of this tile will be and take your measurements from it and transfer them to the tile. You will need to use a wet cutter.
Or if that is still problematic make a template with paper.

Jay - I can see where you are going and your example looks spot on. My concern of going down that route is:
a) I would end up with a 1 inch or so gap at the other end of the bath.
b) The work involved is slightly more I want to take on if I can help it :) I just spent about 2 hours levelling and securing the bath as well!!

diamondtiling - The attached might explain better what I am trying to do. The area with the red lines is going to be tiled and the area circled in red is the part I am dreading! IMG_0426.jpg

I can see what you mean now, you will clearly to be able to measure where you will have to cut the tiles and what will be the waste area. Have you got a pair of tile nippers? If so then take your time and slowly remove the waste, keep offering it into position and cutting until it fits.
If you dont feel up to it then there are tilers on this forum in your area that will do the job for you.
