tiling story

i want to post a story,a tiling story, a story that is true but a story that is accountable.
i have tried to post my best story a number of times but it never appeared because i got timed out.]
i think i have taken so long it gets lost.
would appreciate a hand .

start by writing it in a word document or similar and then cut and paste to the forum when ready. Or, try posting it in sections rather than in one long post. This should stop you from getting timed out.

You shouldn't time out. That's a cookie issue. Log into the forum, and then click log out (which erases your forum cookie from your internet browser) then log back in and make sure you check the "remember me" button.

Also, if you navigate from a thread you are replying to, or a new thread you are creating, you should be able to navigate back to it and reload the autosave by clicking a link that appears in the bottom left hand corner of the text area. This is a feature of the forum that rarely gets used by anybody but me it seems!

You'll see as you're typing a reply that every 15 seconds or so, in the bottom right hand corner of the text area, a little yellow notice appears with the words "auto saved" and then it disappears again.

This feature might not apply to old internet browsers though mind.

I've noticed that mine autosaves and I didn't do anything to set it up. But I'm on a Mac and they are more intelligent than Windows PCs/laptops

i think the members will like this story but every time i compose letter and then send , it has expired

ok sorry . been away for the last hour .
im going to write in word , save and then work out how to get this on to forum.
cor blimey , im giving myself a task and a half now.
in actual fact my story may not be very interesering in tiling terms, more the adventure and i have done dozens of these .
