Well, the OP asked the question I want to know and im greeted by 3 +pages of waffle about aerosol Vs normal.

Im using LTP Matt Stone on filled and honed trav on the wall. Ive just sealed with a 1st coat and would like to know what you guys reckon is a good time to wait before grouting?

Tin says 2 hours to dry but a further 3 days to become fully resistant.

What do you reckon? would like to grout today really

Dave, you will be good to grout today. The first coat always dries really quickly and is really only to prevent grout marking tiles by making it easier to wipe down. I would advise that you leave it until later this afternoon :)

just looked up mattsone tech sheet on ltp site and they do not specify when you can grout after sealing although the suggestion is when cured ie 3 days which seems ridiculous.
in the case of travertine you are probably right in that could grout within a few hours and i tend to treat every stone from experience as how i seal , what quantity required and how long to leave etcc.
in fact with travertine it is one of a very few stones that i do not seal at all before grouting as i have never had a problem with travertine picture framing. then seal after grout dried.
i have to say that i am not a great fan of mattstone ecxcept for the price.
I would never use it on a stone unless supplied with the floor and when it has been supplied i have big problems in cold winter weather with it congealing and generally not being user friendly.
even if i use mn stainstop i never grout same day as sealing even though i know that many do without a problem. the reason being in that if it goes wrong you will have no come back.
I am currently trying out universeal rapid all in one which does say you can seal and grout same day and this is certainly a good selling point .
time and test will tell
