I'm pretty sure I saw some on a small wall, although they were probably 450x450 in size

It seems they’re used a lot as ceiling tiles John, so maybe that was their original purpose, being that size.

Quite interesting I’d of thought Andy.
Laying it all out dry to a plan to be able to cut them all first is something the Americans do a lot with feature panels or the like.
Some will tile the whole lot on to backer boards and just Fix boards direct to the wall.
