You lost me again Mikey - does that mean the wrong club, that he's a toon, or just not interested? This is just the weirdest thread to me, clear as mud... but strangely fascinating.... adn insight into the footballer's mind, obviously - or not...:dizzy2:

G, this is called sibling rivalry. Dave is a Newcastle United fan and Mikey is, erm, actually I don't know which team he supports. But he's obviously very pleased that Newcastle have been relegated from the Premiership (1st division in very old terms) and now wishes to rub Dave's nose in it

Dave will probably not comment on this thread as he is still hurt and reeling from the pain of relegation. Newcastle United have been in top flight football for as long as I can remember (which isn't too far as I don't really follow football).

But I would be equally as gutted as Dave if my team (Liverpool FC) were relegated, and my sister's team (Everton FC) remained in the premiership. That is a very unlikely situation may I add, as Liverpool is the second best team in England :hurray:

And football supporting is quite complicated in my family. I support Liverpool, sis supports Everton, Dad and Uncle support Stoke, cousin supports Port Vale, hubby supports Tottenham Hotspur. And how Stoke managed to get into top flight football and stay there is a marvel that I am not interested in :prrr:
