trav splashback

Hi
Can anyone offer advice?
Doing a travertine splashback, B&Q 2" Square Mosaics
Finsh without trim, ie leaving it open.
Would you tidy up edges with a sliver of grout,Silicon or leave bare?
Can't ask house owner as away on holiday.

i would grout the side joins and neaten up with decorator chaulk....that way it can be painted onto....if you use Silicon you cant paint it............p.s why dont you trim it anyway?

Hi mate, i think i may have a similar job coming up and if the tiles have a nice edge to them i was intending on just grouting the edge. Personal choice i guess

I've always grouted the edge with travertine. I think it looks more natural.
