Travertine-UFH=Decoupler? Aparently NOT..

It does have a fleece ye but it is now made in Sweden and not Germany like the other mats..

It is yes..🙂... PHG Wetrooms is now selling it..

And Dural give a FULL warranty and promise no comebacks.. unlike the older version that a few comps sold.. 🙁🙁

Just used the new ci on a trav job as a dpm, but not on ufh, so fingers crossed. When I was up at Mapei a few weeks back, the training guy mentioned Mapetex and I will be using that in future 1 - because it's a single mayer mat and 2 - it's actually cheaper than the plastic/fleece mats. I'm now concerned over a marble job done last year (40m2) on old ci on wet ufh, hopefully, as I haven't heard anything yet, it should be ok :uhoh2:

Whos the full warranty from the seller or Dural themselves?

Mapetex is one I'm also looking into but am unsure of it because its single layer so wonder if it work as well.

Davie, might be worth a call to Mapei, or check out the website, I liked the simplicity and versatility of it, and the fact you can make it part of the adhesive layer without adding too much height, if any at all.

Yeah they seem good points Cheers Ken, think ill call mapei and quiz them. Do you recon its a better choice the the new ci? Only ask as your one if the few who have tested ci+.
