Trim dilemma

Hi all,

Just after any suggestions on what size tile trim to use on a job coming up.
The customer has bought 8mm ceramics, and 10mm mosaic border for their bathroom walls, but i cant decide what size trim to use due to the border being 2mm thicker.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Just use the 10mm and use a thicker bed on the ceramics to build out 2mm extra for trim..

go with the 12mm and the ceramic can be fixed with a deeper notched trowel.I always use a fast set with the mosaic as it allows the tiles above to sit on the mosaic sooner,otherwise you can end up with a right mess.Use a tile off cut to flush the mosaic with the tile as well.Get it?

the 10mm may cause the mosaic to sit proud and in my experiance there will always be a customer that will pick that out.😛rrr:

10mm for me too, 12mm would lead to a lot of bedding out of the 8mm tiles :mad2:
