hi tilers !!! thanks for your comments on my photos ! iam am in the process of learning the art of 3 way mitres ! .. the question i have is about this glazed porclin job iam starting on sat! the tiles are 600 by 300 , the floor is curently floor boards which i have converted the customer from wanting to ply it himself  to letting me lay no more ply down
was wondering wot you size trowel you would recomend for laying them ? its my first porclin job and do i need to butter the back of the tile aswell as the floor ? also as ive never used no more ply yet ,is it going to get a good bond on floor boards ? as iam hearing the screws you get with no more ply is just ment to hold the board down while glue sets ? :dizzy2:

I have never used No More Ply but I am sure Smurf will be along in a minute to give his vast knowledge on all things NMP. As for the trowel size, I use a 20mm half round thick bed/solid bed trowel. Fx a tile after trowelling the floor then lift to check for coverage. if it is 100% then you are fine, if not then try back skimming too.
