What do you use /keep in your van make /size/why ?

I normally use 8/10 on walls and 10/12 on floors. I also have in the van a 3,4.5,6, another 2 10mm and a 13mm. Nice to have a selection when your going to a customers house amd they changed the tile or they wrecked the walls taking tiles off.

Oh and they are all rubi apart from the 13mm Marshall town trowel

2/3/4 for mosaics, 6 for anything up to 250 x 300 (good walls) and cement board, 8/10/12 for large format, 20 for bad floors (never really use now) , plastic for when over heat mat, various plastering trowels and Venetian marble trowels.

I find I use my 10 and 12mm square notch 90% of the time as it covers most scenarios. I do have a 3,4 and 6mm square and a 10mm round notch as well, but very rarely use them, only for hardies/ditra mainly. All rubi.

I have 2,3,4,6,10 and 12mm Genisis on the van all the time and in the corner of my lock up is another load of unused trowels...the platinum set as well.

6 mm , 8 mm , 10 mm, 12 mm squared notched all made by forte ! Have a few large plasters trowels , that I've converted into 12 mm trowels for large floors and large formats !

Do you find that the Forte trowels pop the rivets after a few weeks? Pure dung.

Have just about every size and variety but anything under a 10mm is only really suitable for 6x6 IMO. Seems mad doing 600x300 with a 6 or 8mm even with a back skim.

Haven't had any trouble with any of them yet Peter and they are my longest serving trowels , expensive mind !

Maybe it's just me lifting tiles up again with the corner of my trowel. Never had one that's lasted longer than a month. The Tilerite and Vitrex ones are usually great quality for sensible money.

I've got 4mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm and 12mm square notched trowels, all made by Rubi.

I've got 2 10mm round notch trowels, plus a Tiger Trowel and a couple of Ragni plasterer trowels.

I have stainless rubi in all of their sizes. A couple of sizes have never been used!
