I see the link to the warranty scheme on the TTA website doesnt work any more.
As far as I recall, the scheme didn't offer a warranty on your work, it offered insurance to the customer against you going bust.
I've considered joining the TTA on and off over the years but failed to see any benefit to me and my business so I never have. Thats another thread tho.

TTA do have some decent benefits to be fair. I'd consider looking at private insurance / warranty, and then comparing. You need a bit of an understanding to it before deciding if it's worth it really. I'd guess, and it's only a guess I've not looked into it, that they've bagged a decent deal for the tiler. They're the guys that'd pull it off if anybody could. And it'd get the industry insure, and also trusted by the customer.

I can see the benefit in it as long as the deal was actually decent to be honest. It's a shame if they have already to do back out of the idea.

Just IMO of course.

They should know, and it's down to TTA to push the offers/products they offer I guess.

It's a shame to hear the actual members didn't know about the deal, and on the same note, they're scrapping it because of that.

They could do with an actual final push maybe.
