Hi everyone, I am just after advice as to whether or not to join the TTA. Is it just something else to spend your hard earned cash on or a really good organisation to be part of?

I applied 3 months ago and only got my acceptance letter last week ,I had to give names addresses and phone numbers of customers whom were written to by the TTA ,I also had to give trade references where i buy materials and I also needed a TTA member to second my application all this was checked then a commitee decides whether to allow you to join ,so It is definitely a thorough selection process and I feel quite proud to be a member to be honest plus I will use their logo in my marketing and my cards will be the only ones in my local tile shop with the TTA logo on them so I Make that a benefit and a unique selling pointWhat sort of checking do they do? Do they physically go out and inspect jobs? Would cost them a fortune if I was to join if they were flying back and fourth to NI.
