turned your heating on yet..

getting a bit nippy now, anyone gave in and turned the heating on yet?

i hate doing it, kind of says thats it for summer, not that we had much of one , and here comes winter..

wife and kids are moaning at me , but i try to hang on at least till oct, just tell them to put another coat on ...:lol:

hardly turn the heating on as the aga keeps the house warm and when it gets colder have a log burner just waiting for the chimney to be swept but the aga uses a lot of gas but gas & electric still works out 200 a month

came in from work and the house was boiling looked at the stat and it was on 25:yikes: turned it down and took the dial off that will stop them

Had the heating on just when baby has a bath but other than that not much at all.

Accidentally put it on last night though and woke up sweating. Turned it off and opened all the windows then woke of freezing. No happy medium last night lol

Turned ours on this weekend. The underfloor heating in he remodelled lounge is flipping warm.

good plumber fitted 5 new rads at ours on sunday :hurray:. So yes heating is on for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours evening :8:. If i said no to heating my wife would be :53::lol:

ours has been turned on at lunch time today as the house has been empty for a few days so it was really cold when we got in. we won't try to put ours on until the middle of october if we can help it. we've got 2 electric heaters that I tend to put on when it gets a bit chilly and only heat the rooms we're in.

Got the fire burning away. Been scraping ice off my windscreen for a few weeks now. Drove 20 minutes west the other day and saw snow on tops of mountains. Coming to England Thursday with nipper, tis half term for her, bringing bermuda shorts and sandals cos it'll be warmer there than I'm used to.
