Twister pads

Just after some feedback really on Twister pads, how people are getting on with them etc. I'm wondering about what sort of work I can be pushing for and how much practice will be needed with the pads. Going to be ordering some soon.

I've seen them used on Tesco's after we have carried out floor repairs and they bring the floor up a treat.

Fantastic bits of kit for cleaning up floors. Also used for concrete polishing.

Would like to know how you get on with them once you have tried them! thought about getting some myself but would like feed back on them after someone else has tried them...

Twister pads were great, used them twice now. On the last job I brought a very dull 60 year old terrazzo floor up to high gloss removing efflorescence at the same time. I'm now wondering how good the grinding pads are by the Twister company (HCT). DCS Hybrid the grinding pads are called, supposed to remove lippage but work on normal rotaries.

I like the look of these and phoned the htc people in Milton keynes to see if they had any Uk seminars coming up ,they didnt have any booked in a few months ago , I will give them a bell and see if they have got any sorted yet and post any info I find out

Wouldn't worry about training for the Twister pads, they are very easy to use and the staff at HCT very helpful and one of th guys offered a demo. The grinding pads may take more experience however.

The Twisters come in pairs only and cost £41 inc vat.

I used twister pads the first time this week on a floor i stripped that was honed and the customer wanted a gloss finish. I used the twister pads and a bit of stone gloss as the final buff and the tiles had a fantastic gloss finish. Customer was really pleased.

It is a product called stone gloss, you mix with water and spray it onto the floor on the final buff, brings it up a treat.

Who is Stone gloss made by?

Not sure, i get it from another stone restoration guy, just has stone gloss and instruction on can..can ask him where he gets it from he might tell me.
