hi all,a question!! i have done 3 jobs in the last month for a company quoting them a price based on ceramic tiles then they turned up with porcelain, now i didnt mind this as it was my 1st job for them so i let it go with out adding money to the job ,,but now i have quoted them for another job one quote for ceramic,,one for porcelain but the manager is being sketchy regarding the type of tile hes getting,,describing it as a shiny tile with sparkly bits in it which sounds to me like granite to be quite honest or do they make such a tile as ceramic or porcelain with that type of finish..i dont want to be laying granite tiles when on cherging him for ceramics or porcelain as i will be losing potential money again. cheers for any info:thumbsup:

Hello

From the description you have gave me that sounds like a granite tile.

I don't know if there is any ceramic tiles out there that are shiney with the spec affect. I haven't heard of any, but i could be wrong.

Just checked with a branch we do a tile called Gulf stone which is speckle affect this is a granite resin.

Polished porcelin does'nt have a speckle affect.
