Possibly......DPM joints not lapped or taped correctly and moisture is wicking up
 
I have no idea. That had already been done by the time I got there. I was told that as the moisture dries out then discolouring should go does that sound right?
 
I'd give a month before anything else to be honest with ufh running....see if it dries out.

So did you see any evidence of the DPM?.....plastic lapping up the walls or between the old and new screed
Is the marking in a similar place to the new screed?
 
No. Good point only around the outsides of the screed. So there could be possible damp from there
