Uneven Silicon line!!

Hi,

When you tile upto a celing and its not that even do you plaster it

to fix it(to avoid wavy Silicon lines) or is there a trick of the trade to get

nice straight line with an uneven ceiling?

Dont Silicon the ceiling joint use a caulk instead. Its still flexible and can be overpainted when the customer does their ceiling

Will caulk hide the uneven ceiling? (were the tile meets the ceiling?)

Its a flexible decorators filler and in a tube the same as Silicon. I dont tend to put a thick bead on i just use a small one and wipe it in with a damp cloth.

Really depends how bad the ceiling it. They are never flat or straight though

Aye but i want my Silicon/caulk line to be perfect not like a roller coaster
because the celing is off :yikes:

I think the point about the caulk is that it will blend in with the ceiling once both are painted together, so the ceiling will look straighter because the eye is drawn to the top of the tiles, not the top of the caulk, if that makes sense?
