Aye but i want my Silicon/caulk line to be perfect not like a roller coaster
because the celing is off :yikes:

Hi mate,

some ceiling are realy bad to work with as Im sure you know lol

one way to identify this whilst setting out is to mark a datum along each wall say 100mm below ceiling height for example measure the distance from the datum to the ceiling at various points along the wall. This will give you a good idea as to how bad the ceiling is you can then explain this to the customer.

this puts you in the position to think about remedial work if your willing to do it e.g. skimming over or dot and dab new cieling etc This additional work would obviously be extra costs to the customer so they may be happy toleave it.

I scribe my last row of tiles to the ceiling giving a 2mm joint gap which is then caulked at least the tiles are even to the ceiling and the caulk stays even too, not your problem if the ceiling isnt even as long as the tiles are cut to suit and not just in a strait line and you are trying to hide varying gaps between ceiling and tiles.
