peegee tips
Hi all,
Looking for a bit of advise with the following please.
Been to look at a kitchen which has just had new units fitted & worktops.
On looking at the installation i can see that there is a fair difference in the height from the underside of the work surfaces to the floor, at one end the height is 880mm the other end, 6m away is 915mm.
From what i can see the original kitchen floor is fairly level, but the problem is where the newer extension meets the this. Within the space of a metre the floor slopes around 15mm, looks like when they levelled it that they started at the opposite end to the original floor, then realised it was much higher & just sloped it down to meet the old level!
The old kitchen floor is also covered in a kind of black material, which you can push your nail into, but is very well stuck to the concrete floor.
Any ideas how to go about tackling the out of level floor & the black material.
Many thanks.
