Sounds like a SLC bonding issue..

a quick call to tech line will say which ones.. and it is a very strong slc once laid..

Why didnt they just paint the concrete floor , without adding 4mm of slc which is not suitable for driving on. Cant see a house that cost that much money having a garage floor that rough to start with.

From what i can guess, the concrete got cut to allow extra wiring ducts to be laid.
Somebody came up with the idea of the SLC and paint.
I've passed on the info supplied here, and will come back with an update when they decide what to do......thanks!
