I have a transit and built my own racking in it out of
Timber and ply. A long 2 shelf section down right hand side,
With space under for storing tall mix buckets, and my rubi,
Cutters are also stored under, with a chain lock. Top shelf
Is open so I can slide battens etc on it. I also fitted a mini narrow shelf ontop of that again to house my levels.
While ago I used a spare 2.4m cardboard tube which I slide
My trims into.
Also built a smaller 3 tier shelf on left side between back doors and slide door.
If you then attach eyelets to the framework and buy bungees
You can strap stuff to it so it don't fall around, ie steps workbenches etc.
Takes a bit of time to do it but works for me.
No way was I paying silly money for the ready made van racks.
