Cheers Guys, I'll keep you posted. I've had the nod via phone, so just waiting for a comfirmation email and deposit and should have everything ordered by end of today.

In the end, I did 4 different designs of quarry tile, with and without the red/black diamond mesh border, and with and with out the conway field tile. Also using a sacrificial border tile in hafod black. That way, the customer could see how much more the detail in the tiles affected price. In the end they went for one of the middle prices, the most expensive was almost the same as the victorian geometric.

In my search for work, one of my mates has now called me back to offer 2 weeks painting. Going to be jumping on that for a few days till the materials come in, as I need to start earning again asap. Has been a long 6 weeks!!

Time's Ran Out

Well done Denis!
And I thought I was going off to sunny Manchester.
Ah well I'll just stay here on the beach getting my head burnt.
As for working with the Oldham Legend well my Zimmer frame is in for a wheel change and service so you'd have to push me around on one of those Dolly trolleys from Aldi. I used to say I wasn't black enough to get down, but now it's the getting up that's the problem!

Best to stay on the beach anyway, it'll be back to winter before we know it!! If I got a day to watch you guys work, I would happily volunteer to push you around no hesitation

Everything arranged now, due to go ahead Friday. Tiles won't arrive till mid next week, so I'll re-do the insulation, wires, SLC this Fri/Sat, and go back once the tiles arrive next week.
