I know its not exactly a pro machine and I've read the blade is not the best but it's the best I could afford. The machine is only a couple of months old and I'm currently doing my second travertine job with it. There's plenty left on the blade but now I'm having difficulty making perfectly straight cuts. The problem I'm having is the start of the cut for the first 25mm or so the cut is not in line with the rest of the cut so when I put a straight edge against the cut edge I can see 0.5mm daylight for the first 25mm. I've been getting around this problem by doing a careful back stroke which removes this bump. I've noticed there is slight play where the bearings run in the track and when I pull and push the head the assembly it has slight side to side movement. There is an adjustment bolt that when tightened exerts pressure via a leaf spring onto the front bearings so I tightened this and it did help a bit but the play is still there. Can anyone offer any suggestions to help eleviate this problem or is it a combination of a poor blade and the play.
