I would rather tile the floor 1st especially if the joints on the floor are to follow up the walls. The job i am on at the moment use the same floor tile on walls and floor. I find it easier to tile floor after setting out and then just line up the walls off the floor joints.
As for cleaning the floor....dont be so messy and tiles are easy to clean :thumbsup: If you drop adhesive or a bare floor you still have to clean up.
