Just checked mine deffo 4 wheels and 4 holes to put them in. unless they are giving you a choice of which end you want to put 2 wheels in and giving 2 spare wheels.

I't not really a one handed process - you got to keep hold of the bucket.

Any one use gloves with this (neoprene or anything) I got some cracking skin bubbles to play with when i done 35m2 one afternoon.

Why you get skin bubbles ? Hands should be relatively dry if using washboy. Or do you mean blisters ?
Also - that's the reason I don't use the wheels, stops washboy moving about so can do with one hand !!

Wash boy - fantastic until some bint wants you to use black grout.

Cleaning it out after reminds me of fighting over the PVA pots to pick out at school.

Aye, now the bugger moves all over when i try to use it :wink_smile: . Got to chase it round the floor, keeps me fit though

yeah rubi for me too, know what ya mean about black grout, got two sponges now, one for lights and one for darks, who makes the 4 wheel drive wash boy's then

going back to the first post from tjsmiler. How the f~#* do you use a washboy??? i have just purchashed the rubi one and cant seem to work out if i have to fill my water so high that it comes over the black grate in the middle, otherwise i see no way of wetting my sponge....?? or am i being really dumb! anybody with a rubi washboy or simlar please help.thanx

I got the 4wd version from Karl Dahm..............it did'nt come with wheels.........they were extra :icon9:

Great bit of kit on large floors.

I also got a doz extra sponges from Tradetiler.

Wait until you get a rough stone floor, your'll understand then. Rips them to shreds

Lol Brum....this weren't my first post mate....... fill it up just above the crate (about 20-30mm) or if you prefere take the tray out altogether (this is what i do) it dont matter too much as all the grout and other stuff sinks anyway mate.

thats how u get a few of they sponge pads for washing off one for walls one for normal grey grout one for black

The tray (grid) is there to help agitate the sponge to remove more grout particles, also if you dont fill it too far above the grid you can do your washing off with dry hands as only the sponge bit gets wet not the handle.

Mine is a Karl Dahm and it has got 4 wheels, you can lock them so that it doesn't move about. Not had much problem cleaning it yet, I empty out most of the water, let the sediment dry and then just scrape it out, giving a final clean with a sponge.
