weber reward scheme...

is it a load of tosh or not?, I've heard so many stories about the codes being ripped by the retailers and the end user not being able to redeem the points, and weber asking for purchase verification blah blah blah etc when they know this is a flaw in their system (or a clever marketing ploy ?), personally I'll never use weber again, not because I don't rate their gear, it's good stuff, but because their marketing dept still have't fulfilled a prize reimbursement of £75 that I was awarded albeit via a 3rd party [MENTION=12378]jay[/MENTION]...this was probs about 9 months ago...Tilemaster now have my recommendation and custom,,good if not better, certainly better price anyway.

I bought 40 bags of addy (a mix of SPF, slow set, and standard grey) from tile town earlier in the year, just as the reward points came out, I asked if I would get points for my pallet and was told I would, they never arrived. The next bulk buy was from CTD, I bought 30 bags (mixed again), only 25 of them had stickers on them, this sort of thing really annoys me.

I'm getting sick and tired of these points things, if they want us buy there gear then put there prices down so they are more appealing....and as you Doug Tilemaster seems to be my choice at the moment.

Well I have cashed in around 30,000 points so far and got all the prizes I asked for.

Now I have around 22, 000 built up again , the point scheme works just fine here

I find a lot of the bags have them missing here

few looked like never had. some where ripped off with the code

Most have been returned by Weber, but I feel like a pikey having to ask, annoying though

it would not surprise me if someone at my supplier takes half the codes off for personal gain!

I get the odd bag with no sticker if I'm not paying attention whilst loading. It's mean but if I miss one or four, I just pull them off bags the next time I collect more. I'd safely say I'm the only one collecting points locally anyway 😉

I've purchased 80 bags of low dust rapid set recently , all with reward vouchers on them ,i still haven't cashed them in yet , but it's worrying if theirs problems with their lack of honourability !
