If it's DIY on their own house then i don't think it's too bad..... but if it's a tradesmen or worse still a tiler who has charged for it then it is a bit naughty. Be a nice puddle in the middle of it when it rains though.

Yes it could have done with levelling first but you get what you pay for when it comes to tiling. If the guys not a tiler then they got what they paid for :/

1. This bloke prevented a reputable tiler from earning a honest crust, OR
2. This bloke ripped off the paying customer(customer just doesn't know it yet,)

True. A reputable tiler has missed out on earning some crust as you put it.
Ripped of the customer....Depends on how much they paid him to tile it. When it comes loose I'm sure the customer will hire a reputable tiler.
We all learn from our mistakes.
