its just cause I have recently found a hobby of making furniture out of old pallets and a hacksaw blade on that thing would tear the pallets apart with ease lol

Hacksaws are for metal. Those blades are as good as anything but very expensive for that. Get a hand saw.

yes mate the hacksaw blade would be o go through the nails so that each length is in tact because trying to break them up with a big length of 2x4 splits all the wood.
