Wet Cutter

Good point Aston, I had the dewalt before and I think I am leaning that way again, like you mentioned dwc410 for longer cuts.
Think I would go for new though just for the peace of mind. Just noticed trade tiler is out of dewalt cutters. Anywhere else anyone would recommend? Need it this weekend

The dewalt takes a couple of minutes to set up. not really a two man job in terms of carrying, just 2 trips tot the van.

hi bobbin,
you could spend literally £1000's of pounds on tile saws and in the right situations with the right voulume of work it would be worth it but a dewalt is a really really good all round saw, especially on the domestics and for stone work up to a certain size and area. Add you angle grinders and a good saw with a a guide/rail, you can work efficiently and cost effective for minimal outlay and thats what its all about, the maths ;0)

I have a rubi to-66s as well so manual cutting I am happy with. Think the dewalt it will be again. Funny how things work around. I had one sold it on a few years ago and now back to needing one!

Not sure if Dave from tradetiler will see this but could do with knowing when he will get stock of the 240v

Just messaged him so hopefully I can get this at the weekend with a great price from Dave

DeWalt are annoyingly out of stock of 240v until fist week of October. We have plenty of 110v

You can see it in their video on our YouTube channel

Thanks Dave,
Is there any real difference in the 110v as I have a dropper box so can use it. My stuff is nearly all resize so don't need the 110v for site work, but I guess it makes sense to have the option if needed. Also do you sell the stones that you can get to clean the cutting blades if you have done a lot of stone cutting, a dressing stone I believe they are called?

The 110v is 1500 watt motor and the 240v is 1600 watt motor, that is the only differnce

OK so i have gone for the dewalt, had to get it from somewhere else as wanted the 240v, sorry dave, but needed it this weekend. I do appreciate your time and help.
I will be getting the blade from you but will give the dealt a go first and see if it is up to scratch on travertine.
