wet cutters

here here Howard my blade is a lot older than that but like dave said you can buy wet and dry blades and we knoe them as wet cutters but they r not called wet citters. Electric tile cutter or saw will be 1 of the correct names they can be used wet or dry, wet eliminating the dust dry eliminating all the splashes
Diamond blades are manufactured by gluing the diamond chips to the metal surface, if you use them dry they will get much hotter than when wet risking the adhesive braking down and the diamond chips falling off - wearing out - ask Richard at 365Drills. Thats why blades need cooling to keep the glue in tact, NOT to keep dust down, though this is an additional benefit.
