Table d2400 and the Plasplugs master table mainly only tile bathrooms. Should of bought dewalt ages ago only had it 6 months. It's the dogs nellys

can't vote here. have rubi and dewalt. both great cutters. rubi is number ONE for mitred corners (can't do that with dewalt). dewalt is animal :hurray:

1 : Dewalt D2400 for stone work

2 : Rubi Diamante D200 for general tiling for L- cuts

3 : Grinder with turbo type blade for quick cuts and for dressing corners edges on stone work etc.

Just to add, if you do a lot of repetitive wet cutting then a rail saw will be better and neater than free cutting on a table saw, unless that table saw is something like
a Sigma 10m or similar but i am comparing to the likes of a plasplug type table saw.

I find my Rubi ND200 is a good all rounder but for smaller tiles a Briccolina.

bridge saw for big jobs and the makita cordless saw for little jobs.
i can honestly say the little cordless is a great cutter,u can use it inside with no mess,just cut over a bucket to catch the water,saves running out side or up and down stairs

I have looked at one of those makita cutters a few times.. can you get faster cutting blades or not.?

i think so,the blade you get is fine though, ive cut hard porc and stone with it,the cut is still perfect,ive had it a year or so,im quite tight though and wait until they are proper done in before i buy a new one and theres no chipping at all and the cut is really fine,not like the wet saws.

For those using or thinking of buying a plasplugs or Vitrex type cutters. Remember that the motors are connected to plastic/If you run the machine dry with no water then heat will build up (Very quickly) through the cutting wheel and can melt the mounting points.The next thing you know you will be experiencing what can look like spindle wobble. The cure is to always run the machine with water.


Sorry that should be the Prevention is to always use with water.
