I have looked at one of those makita cutters a few times.. can you get faster cutting blades or not.?
i think so,the blade you get is fine though, ive cut hard porc and stone with it,the cut is still perfect,ive had it a year or so,im quite tight though and wait until they are proper done in before i buy a new one ;) and theres no chipping at all and the cut is really fine,not like the wet saws.

For those using or thinking of buying a plasplugs or Vitrex type cutters. Remember that the motors are connected to plastic/If you run the machine dry with no water then heat will build up (Very quickly) through the cutting wheel and can melt the mounting points.The next thing you know you will be experiencing what can look like spindle wobble. The cure is to always run the machine with water.


Sorry that should be the Prevention is to always use with water.
