Wet Tile Cutter Confusion!!

Bit confusing, you say you deal with mostly domestics, want an indoor saw but are now looking at rail saws and the Dewalt 2400, waaaaaay to big imho for what you need, the Dewalt 2400 for one is terrible for spray go for the ND200, again imho 🙂
Yea

Yeah, fair point, am being as clear as mud here. Have been going round in circles for a one-size-fits-all solution and have confused myself! Think I'll probably buy a bridge-saw (maybe the Rubi DU200l, with a decent blade) for outdoor cutting of bigger tiles and keep with my Vitrex for indoor when poss. Gonna go and have a lay down now...

What size tiles you buying cutter for ,
Rarely go bigger than 600mm. Have had problems with chipping of porcelain tiles though (even with decent blades) on 'regular' cutters so am leaning towards a bridge saw for more precision cutting. If you have a suggestion for a decent cutter around the £250-400 range I'm all ears. I get that the blade is the key, which begs the question...what would the extra 150-200 quid buy me?

And does anyone find it a pain to have a separate bucket for a clean water feed to the pump? Would this mean balancing a bucket on a small step?!?!

Nd200 perfect for 600mm tiles ,like i said all about the right blade for the right material

I have an Rubi ND200 and have used indoors with a cement mixing tray and the cutter sitting in that which catches all bits, use a plastic painters tray to feed water to the blade which allows you to top up the water when required.
