The only issue I see with templating the wc shape is if it's replaced in the future and can be of different specification.

Must admit I'm not overly concerned as I did it as per the Grohe instructions. The steel frame is designed to spread the load of the pan with the 2 cross bars

I'm back a year later to do his main bathroom. Exactly same spec, only difference is this room has a bath. Same bloody floor tiles lol!!

Do you have hard water where you live . They would get all calcified around here . Looks nice tho

It's had 2 coats of sealer. His ensuite that I did 14 months ago still looking tip top.
