What adhesive is best for me?

Hi there, what adhesive will be best for me to use in my bathroom? I will be tiling onto plywood, also will I need to treat the ply with something before the adhesive goes down?

if tiling onto ply i would use a 2 part flexible adhesive, but using a cement board on top of the ply would be a better base for you to tile on.

What thickness is the ply and is there anything underneath it?

Hi sorry it's 12mm ply for the floor, screwed onto timber floor boards. Very sturdy!

On your walls "Bal white star" is excellent for using on ply after you treat it of course and mapie 2 part for your floor

Remember the issues of tile size/weight with tubbed adhesives.

I find Bal single part flexible adhesive very handy for tiling on ply
