Went to a festival last week and Human League were playing, never been a great fan but they were awesome

their "non-commercial" stuff was superb Neale, same as Duran Duran, b-sides were miles better than a-sides.....those of us that used to buy 45rpm singles will know what I mean lol!

long long time ago there was a group of students from Charterhouse Public School that got together and made some really good progressive tunes....then they sacked Peter Gabriel and went mainstream and eerrrr pants to put it mildly, but their early stuff was superb..

brilliant song Mike :) I don't listen to Cure nearly as much as I should do, but I still reckon they're in my top 3 of live bands I've seen. When i was off to see Siouxsie and Banshees once I wa speed off that John McGeoch was in re-hab and Robert Smith was lead guitar, tell you what, he was absolutely superb, putting his own little twists and solos into well established Banshees favourites, I can still see Siouxsie giving him a "WTF?" eye, he just grinned and carried on, Budgie and Severin kept the beat going and SS, caught up eventually :)

you know wot doug ur so rite one band I have never seen live anyway one more tune before I go to bed as iam up early takin my grandson to his first country fair
