What do you think of these tiles?

Just doing a bathroom at the moment, and used some interesting tiles that I haven't seen before, they were a bit of a pain to cut, as they have fake grout grooves in them, so couldn't score them to cut, had to angle grind every one!

I think they look quite good when down though, what do you guys reckon, and what's your guess at the cost per square metre?

btw - this pic was taken before I'd polished them off.

They look good, not as good as the real thing but cost would be an issue...if the customer is happy then that's all that matters.

The actual time joint looks too heavy to me compared to the rest.
What size joint have you used Magga?

I know, it's a 3mm joint, didn't really want to go smaller than this. A 2mm would have been better, but really you'd need a 1mm for it to look the same!

Oh ok, I'd of been tempted to go down to match, depending on substrate.
I'm sure client was made up tho mate, nice job!

I nearly did go to 2mm, but they weren't 100% spot on size wise, so didn't want to risk it!

The customer loves it, and that's the main thing of course.

I was quite impressed with them for the price though, £22.94/sqm

And in the background you can see the Dewalt laser that I bought, based on your recommendation! I do really like it though! Whilst on that subject, do you ever stick yours to angle beading behind plaster? I find it's right on the verge of being too heavy for the magnets to hold it. It does hold, but the slightest touch and it falls.
