What makes a good tiler

Random question , in your opinion what makes a good tiler............

So many, but patience is one that springs to mind. Every tradesman on site always comments they could never be a tiler as they don't have the patience

It's a mixture of things for me. Creative mind, attention to detail, knowing what products to use for the situation, cleanliness, accuracy, patience, being able to handle customers and so on.

being brave enough to turn a job down if customer won't listen to preparation concerns.

Putting your work in straight ,level,plumb and square with even sized joints set with good coverage and sensible set out and zero lip page , grouting the work cleanly with full joints then polishing the job and finishing with good Silicon work get the above part right and keep your work area tidy and do it at adequate economical pace then you will be a good tiler

not going to colleage, spent the past week working with a lad who has almost finished his level 2 tiling... hes got nothing on me so glad I chose the route I did.
