Im doing some plastering next week. ....now that's a piece of easy work:sofahide:

You got that right mate, i actually really enjoy plastering. A bucket, a whisk, a hop up, a trowel and a few hours and you transfer a whole bathroom. Simples

Nice tj, i think plastering is next on me list tbh seems its hard to find a good one, so a good one i will make lol

Give it a bash Ash on a small wall that your going to be tiling over anyway...... All tilers are good with trowels and who can read and feel bumps/high/low spots on a wall better than a tiler. i got fed up with plasterers banging on about how great they are but i have yet to meet one who can get a wall flat (they seem to think that smooth and flat are the same thing) but i can do it nearly everytime no matter how bad the wall is to start with.

I know for a fact that I could skim a wall and at least make it tile worthy, ive only ever done small areas at a time but theres never any bedding out needed just serate and get nice flat tiles. I will be re-doing all the rooms in my house eventually as all boarding needs to be removed so I can inulate the house, one room at a time lol cheers

Bonding is lovely stuff to work with and really easy to move about...only trouble is the drying time :smiley2:
