What size notched trowel

Hi

I am fixing a column of glass/stone mosaics which size trowel should be used and which type should I use.
V or square notches.

I was thinkhing of 3mm x 3mm square, am I right.

I like a 4mm square but yes 3 should be fine

Probably would'nt matter if a 4mm was used due to the thickness.....
