What tips have saved you time or money?

Switching to sigma cutter that saved me a lot of time. Marking cuts on tile with pencil without using mesure tape saved me a lot of time as well. Keeping workspace tidy and organised saves a kot of time as well. Using braces saves you time on pulling your trousers up. Few seconds here and there thats in some cases 1 hr a day.

Some people just don't like change my dads a rubi guy through and through he bought a sigma and hated it he just couldn't get used to the sigma way but I think it's great so It now lives with me lol

Not having someone who says he can tape up the joints in plasterboard do it for me would have saved me loads of time and money. Why say you can do something when it's bleedin' obvious you can't? I've now got to do it all again..... It's also reminded me why I generally work alone.
