Just got a Peugeot 206 1.9 diesel van off ebay for 1400 quid. Only 1 owner with 51k on clock and full service history. Does me a treat at the moment as like most others was using car initially.Get more than enough stuff in for tiling!!

there the small vans right, i was thinking of getting a little van like that but will it hold the weight of tiles and adhesives. i dont want to cave in the suspension

Need a van really, want to put lots of advertising on it

Not too much mate - Wall and Floor Tiling in BIG BIG letter and your Phone Number just as bit - then your company name on the door - not so big. Maybe a logo of your own - not the TTA's or any trade organisation 😉

Had lots of materials in van Tysfoot. 6 bags floor adhesive (120kgs) plus 4 wall adhesive, 4 bags grout, plus dry cutter, 2 wet cutters and all rest of tools. No problem with weight. Pulled like a good un!!

pug expert for me loads of room ,sliding doors both sides and back doors mean i never have to get in to reach anything also its galvenised so no rust:grin:
i remember when i first started i had a mini mind you my tools consisted of a level , hand scriber, pinchers, pencil and a trowel

I'm also looking at getting myself a van. I'm thinking of getting something small like vauxhall combo, citeron Berlingo, suzuki super carry (although this thing looks like a death trap).
I'd get all my tools in any of these vans but more importantly i need something big enough to fit a couple of mountain bikes in the back (without taking the wheels off) so If I ever get a free day or two I can sling the bikes in the back and drive to my local trails forest.

I know a few of you in the forums are keen on flinging yourselfs down the nearest hill on bikes so maybe you could help me decide.

Thanks

peugeot partner hdi but looking to upgrade to expert as i can't fit a sheet of ply in the partner but nippy little van though

always had Pug expert and vito
now drive a Toyota prius as i'm doing my bit for the enviroment.

Got myself a Ford Escort 51 plate van. Nice little runner and it runs on LPG Autogas.... Just filled it up for 23 quid at 47p a litre.... Not bad for a grand
