What van Insurance company?

My renewal notice just came thru and they are having a bloody laugh, up 38%.
Just wondering can anyone rcommend good cheaper providers?

Direct line for me also, got the van, the tools and the liability with them. No hidden charges if you need to make any alterations to the policy during the year, unlike some other companies.

The thing with Direct Line is to get several different policies with them and the discounts become ridiculous.

Thanx fellas, now i will tell ya that im already with direct line!!! My liability policy also. They will be getting a call on monday asking for a better deal.

Direct Line was about £100 more expensive for me.

My advice is, put your details into one of the comparison websites and use the results as your starting point for negotiation.

i agree with captain put details in to lets say gocompare or gladiator then when you find the cheapest quote go directly to that company and you will usually find you can get that same deal but with a tenner off as that is usually the admin fee for the comparison site

Definately give them a ring, I got a quote off their website, didn't think it was very competetive so gave them a call and got a fair bit knocked off, especially when I mentioned that I had a couple of existing policies with them.
