Depends what his customer is.......? If he can get a good metre price then its easily possible. £35 metre is only 11 1/2 metres a day. Even i can manage to fix that many, not every day granted but i can easily get that a metre on my bathrooms

Without i never include materials in my labour rates. That job in Berko was priced at £45 plus mats for ALL the tiling, albeit i wouldnt get that rate for just the tiling alone but as part of my refit thats how i price the tiling as that whats its worth for me to have to do it.

look and the end of the day if your happy in charging what ever day rate and get paid then does it matter, i dont price work on a day rate always price work, always look after customer and give them what they want , and they are happy in paying for the work so i must be getting something right
