when do i seal my tiles ?

I have tavertine tiles, i havent grouted yet, do i grout and then seal it all, or just seal the tiles without the grout ?

hi essex i would seal first before grouting,sometimes 2 coats are needed depending on how porous your stone is

also prefer to seal before fixing sometimes as i feel sealers run sometimes while applying to walls so laying them flat on a pasting table and sealing 1st helps them take what they need sealer wise
