Where to get Business cards

Not sure I'd like that. They'd get competitors ads all around your own page. In fact out of a potential of 10 natural listings and 6 adverts. Youre one of 16 on that page. So they get a hell of a lot more of your competitors than you. Not a cool way to do it.

It's akin to saying my business card is in that bowl there with the other 15 go find it there for me.

I'm pretty sure finding other people's numbers means noting if there looking for u specifically

I would forget about the ones you can get free from CTD mate, unless you are shall we say kind to them, as they keep half to give out in their shop to customers they say, and advertise on the back of yours but they push their favourites

Having dealt with them for 35 years+ I must be one of their favourites as they give my card out a lot and there are racks of other cards for punters to choose. The way to build up a reputation is to buy from a supplier and they will support you.
But of course do it your way and you may end up giving out your own bought cards to everyone you meet whether they want them or not.
You can also use your web page or this Tilers Forum as your introduction. Send them to look at your profile and see how much work it brings in - it's free!

CTD is my main supplier up here but maybe it's a problem with this branch only, I'm not the only tiler here to have noticed this problem others have spoken to me about it, I usually ask a customer how they got my number be it through friends, family, website, advertising etc and in all the years have never had even a phone call or query! I have never fallen out with any of staff and have always been polite and friendly and yet always seems to be the same ones being handed out?

My local CTD always push our tiling services really hard and we are a competing local tile shop! I reckon £50k plus a year in tiling leads from them.
I think so long as you don't take the **** on your pricing, steal their orders or rubbish their products it's in their interest to give out reliable tilers numbers....if people can't find a good tiler they don't buy tiles again! Just remember to look really after the CTD boys at Xmas!
As for business cards we just use Vista print. Cheap and easy to design yourself

Yes I hand out their voucher to all my customers, they got a three grand order from one of them last week but most of the tilers have had the same cards in shop for years and never needed topped up and certain others having to top up every month! One way street I think? There are only 3 kinda main suppliers up here so what do you do!
