Which 1200 cutter to go for?

Yes they will do porcelain even 12mm, Marc @3_fall had one before he went all Sigmatized
Yes I did Ian,
They have updated the flashline now
They’ve changed the way it interlocks now, with a buckle type affair, and I’m sure there’s some kind of clamp arrangement too, for securing to a table.
The flash line is a good large format cutter for occasional use I would say.
It’s not a slow system to use by any means.
These dark tiles were 12mm and some were cut with a flashline, rest on a 3e3m.

If you need a full time cutter which is used virtually every week, that’s another thread.

It’ll be out the van once every few months I guess but when it is it’ll get properly used, most of the bigger format we’re doing is on new developments so a fair few m2.
Sounds like it’ll be a perfect starter and for the money if it needs upgrading at any point I’m sure it’ll have paid its way!!

You do need a good solid work table at%
Waist height tho to use it, and if you're using the large format it’s something you should have as a matter of course.
Yes it can be used on a floor, but it needs to be flat and spacious. And you’d probably get away with using it on a floor with 10mm+ but don’t attempt that with thin tile.
So whilst these systems are excellent and versatile, you need to set yourself up properly to use them.
It’s just a table after all.
Just don’t want you making assumptions of what it should be capable of and then comin back and saying it’s a pile of crap, they’re not.
